Couples Counseling
Relationships can be challenging but through those challenges can be opportunities for growth. If you and your partner are experiencing conflict in your relationship, please don't give up hope. A big part of couples counseling is developing healthier, more effective tools for communication to assist in resolving conflicts. A safe place for couples to dialogue in a manner that promotes sharing of oneself fully and listening more fully to one's partner is the beginning of the process. Deeper work within this safe space is provided so that your partner can share deep emotions stemming from his/her family of origin issues which is affecting the relationship now. A big part in sustaining a loving relationship is positive communication and using the Imago Dialogue founded by Harville Hendrix author of "Getting the Love You Want" is a tool that I use in my couples work. If you are contemplating marriage, in a marriage, engaged or in a relationship, the Imago Dialogue could be a wonderful tool to use to enhance or heal your relationship.

My work consists of listening to 'your life story' and look at how your life story has affected you in your relationship with 'you'. We will work together toward the goals you wish to reach as it relates to your own personal growth. I work with individuals on challenging the core beliefs about themselves that are getting in the way of experiencing a more harmonious relationship with one self.
